Meet the Founders
Gary is a seasoned commercial developer and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in real estate strategy, development, and investment partnerships.
Leading with a servant's heart, he brings an across-the-board approach to structuring real estate deals and forging investor partnerships. He understands that thriving communities aren’t made of brick and mortar but by having the right operator and right investors in place.
Experience:
- 35+ years of experience in real estate developments throughout the U.S., including 10 years and development of $2B+ in commercial and senior living assets.
- President and Founder of Joy & Associates, Inc. Developed, constructed, owned and managed 1M+ square feet of commercial retail, multifamily, mixed use, office, and healthcare assets.
- Vice President of Development & Construction for Trilogy Health Services, overseeing 25 new senior healthcare campuses in 4 states over the course of 5 years.
Ross brings a unique perspective to senior living development, combining hands-on operational leadership with more than 20 years of development expertise.
As both a licensed Executive Director and senior living developer, he understands the industry from the inside out – balancing resident care, operations, and community design.
Experience:
- 20+ years in senior living development covering 9 states, 90 new construction ventures, and $550M+ in assets.
- VP of Market Development and Asset Management for DMK Development Group, overseeing market selections, land acquisition, entitlements, and design team management.
